My wife started the Baptist Hospital Diet this week and it works well for her. I like it cause the first night is steak nite and the second nite is hot dog nite! Lol I’m not so good on the lunches and breakfast’s so I stick to what I do. The steak is seasoned ahead of time with garlic powder and black pepper, over night if possible and then pan seared in a lil oil and hit with some kosher salt till it’s medium done. It calls for 1 C of green beans so I defrost some frozen cut beans or microwave Steam Fresh and after removing the cooked steaks throw the green beans in the hot steak juice with a little diced onion. Since we eat 4oz steak I purchase a 3/4 to 1 inch thick ribeye just over 8 oz (or a pair for next Monday). That steak juice on them beans launch the veggies to another level.
