I just found my perfect size 10 jeans! Happy dance in progress! I've been trying various ones on, and they all just fit wrong on this short-waisted 5'3" body. Then, today, I tried a new style of an old favorite brand, and they are PERFECT! Plus, they were on sale! :o)
It's a gorgeous day, sunny and beautiful. The rain has been cool, coming in stormy bursts, but I love this sunshiny stuff, too.
Yesterday I wore my new Zumba clothes to Gina's Zumba class and I was feeling FINE! The pants are a medium & the top a large. Of course, the pants get a little familiar with my anatomy; just short of camel toe territory, lol. They have these straps that hang off the back pockets and swish when I shake my booty; I'm lovin' it!
I'm having a tough time doing the Bob Challenge; my body just can't take it with all the other stuff I'm doing. I did try it once, and it really made my knees hurt. Of course, I'd already done two exercise classes that day.... Most of what is in the video is well covered in the classes I'm taking, and my knees and lower back can't handle doing the 7 minute condensed version, too.
One of my classmates (90 yr. old) brought me a recipe he told me about; Gangster Chicken. I'll have to give it a try, after I enter it into my Cookbook so I can figure out the nutrition; it contains Italian chicken sausage, something I normally don't eat, but the recipe sounds good. I found some relatively light Al Fresco chicken Italian sausage; maybe I'll only put in two links instead of four. Hmmm, thinking through typing.....
Last night I made chicken breasts stuffed with ham and provolone with cauliflower on the side. Tonight will be Chicken Tamale Casserole with Zucchini & Mexican-style tomatoes. I started a loaf of bread in my bread machine before I left for the gym, spent too much time trying on jeans (on my quest for the perfect ones) and the loaf didn't turn out so well. Probably not enough water, because the ingredients didn't mix so well, resulting in a funny lump of a loaf. Ah well, who needs bread?!
I haven't been sleeping well & use my daily energy on exercise classes and cooking, so I haven't been keeping up with my buddies; sorry, all. I enjoy your journals when I can, and add a comment now and then. I would like to keep up with you more.
