Since I'm new and not really starting to diet until after the weekend I'm getting accustomed to the tools here and getting used to adding what I eat. Had Applebees last night and it should be illegal to serve food like that. The chicken penne dish was over half my RDI by itself! I'll have to get in the habit of checking all foods before eating for sure.

im also new on here! recently lost weight (about 70 pounds) and my weight loss completely stalled... i go to the gym like crazy and am hoping to continue losing, but its been tough... my trainer recommended me tracking fat, carbs, and protein and gave me some guidance and this tool looks like its easy to track all of that. good luck!

I had a similar experience at Bahama Breeze last weekend - thought I made pretty good choices until I went home and checked calories. Didn't kill for me the day and I was good all week so a nice lunch out with the Mrs. was worth the extra calories (although I do not plan on eating at that place again).

On my homepage I saw that somebody had eaten that Applebees penne dish and wanted to see who in the world on fatsecret would do that. Phew!! Fortunately you're new and still trying to figure it all out. Let's go!

This site can be a bit difficult until you get used to it but I am sure you will. Let us know if we can help you any way. I had a lot of people help me so I understand. Good luck :-)
