Happy Easter tomorrow!
Note: Going back up to 1500 mg. acetyl-l carnitine (from 1000). Didn't seem to make any difference before, but am willing to test it again.

So I had to look up acetyl-l carnitine! Please keep us advised of your experiment. I'd be willing to shell out money for something that works but there are sooo many products I'll have to admit I am thoroughly confused. But back to this weekend - have a blessed Easter!

Buffy, I know what you mean....acetyl L-carnitine is the most expensive of the vitamins/supplements I take, at least I think I remember that correctly. Dr. A wrote about it way back in DANDR but it's also been recommended by the Atkins nutritionist more recently. I've been on the 1000 g. dose ever since I began but did try a 1500 dose somewhere along the line....did not change anything, as near as I could tell, so I dropped back. Happy Easter to you too.

Sandy This is worth a read I will be watching how you get on....as I have a terrible memory. It does look like 1500 would be a good dose. http://www.webmd.com/vitamins-supplements/ingredientmono-834-ACETYL-L-CARNITINE.aspx?activeIngredientId=834&activeIngredientName=ACETYL-L-CARNITINE
