Hello! So inquiring minds want to know: camp was absolutely amazing! I had so much fun it was nearly criminal, but at an expense of my diet. Surprisingly, when I weighed myself a couple of days ago, I'd only gained about 3 lbs, but that was also when I was severely dehydrated. If I had to guess, I'm probably back where I started, but that's okay. I still feel stronger (though my abs are basically all the way back to flab), so I'm hoping I have enough stored muscle to lose the weight and keep it off this time. Unfortunately, I still have two more vacations this summer where I'm going to probably fall off the bandwagon again (I know... complaining about vacations - I'm so spoiled!). But one of them is camping, which shouldn't be too bad if I watch my water intake, and the other is the beach, and I'll just try to make sure I eat right and only splurge on a couple of meals. I'll try to bring my workout videos and do some of them too!
My biggest problems right now are the following: after camp, they give away the leftover food, and since I'm a little broke, I took some of it. Unfortunately, all of the healthy options that I wanted to take with me, I couldn't because I didn't have a way to keep them refrigerated and they would have just gone bad. Therefore, I've been going through most of my junk food over the past couple of days and most of it is gone! I also bought some healthy food a couple of days ago, so now I'll try to cook and stuff to keep healthy :D I just need to be motivated enough to cook for myself...
Though, I'm a little concerned about my ankle. Since I was on my feet for basically an entire week and a half straight, my ankles swelled up and my left ankle is still sore. It's mostly when I move it certain ways that it hurts, but I'll probably have to break down and buy an ankle brace, which was something I was hoping to avoid when my ankle muscles got stronger with exercise. However, I do want to be able to work out again, so if it means I'll be able to work out, I'm willing to get an ankle brace!
I really hate having to write up here that I'm failing to eat right and exercise, so maybe that will serve as motivation to stop slacking and eat right! I packed healthy lunches high in protein, which is good, so even though my breakfast was NOT good (I admit it - trying to go through the junkfood in the morning when I can burn it off later), I'm hoping I can keep it up today!
