Not much going on. Weather forecast appears to be cool and rainy for the next week or so. Might be time to set up the trainer and bring the bike inside. Might also check out the Y and try something different. Have gotten a lot more efficient at bicycling and though my average speed has gone way up, I don't think I'm putting much more effort in than when I was riding slower.

Might look at swimming some laps and possibly doing some running. Have always been good at swimming laps and it's a great workout. Haven't had much luck with running in the past but this couch-2-5k thing sounds interesting. If I can at least become mildly competent at running it might be cool to try a triathlon next year.

Give yoga a try if you can. You might find it rather challenging. It will really help with your strength, flexibility and balance. It also is a great way to get a deep stretch. I find that it pairs nicely with my cycling.

And I suck at swimming but am going to be doing the tri thing in the spring as well. I did it a several years back. Really had a ball. I'll work on my swimming, you work on your running and we'll both do a tri in the spring ok?

I've been considering yoga. DW does sometimes while watching the fitness channel. It certainly wouldn't hurt me to become a little more bendy. Maybe I'll do it with her sometime and see if I like it.
