During the boys practice my middle and I headed to the weight room. We worked with the bar only (I added 10# weights on flat bench) for the most part. She struggled but did really well with only a little help! We moved on to the machines as the weight area was filling up. She’s only 12 and it’s 16+ for the weight area so I didn’t want to get yelled at. Introduced her to every machine but we only used half of them. Not the best workout but if I’m not just super sore tomorrow then she asked to go back with me as soon as I want to. A much slower pace and I didn’t feel like I needed to compete, lift like I was this spring etc. Just nice slow and easy! Could still do 200+ on leg press so that’s a plus. Haven’t done those at all in like 9 months. Had to show off a bit and did 135# on rows. Not something I’ll do again soon lol. Took every last bit of energy I had left.
