Goddess Be Praised! Finally below 230, albeit only a tiny fraction. Still it feels like I climbed a seemingly insurmountable hill. Yesterday I had a bad blow to my business, (I am in AZ and the virus is out of control here)so it wasn't a surprise as I have been getting hit all week with cancellations. My first immediate thought was to get some "food" and by "food" I mean the non nutritive, salt/sugar/fat laden crack that our society is so hooked on. But the thought was merely fleeting and I realized that I was hungry, and that the "crack food" wasn't going to help me in any way, or solve any problems. I stopped at the grocery store and got butter lettuce, cucumber, baked tofu, and some potatoes. My husband and I had a very nice meal of healthy and nourishing food. Yes I was still anxious and concerned about my business but "crack food" wouldn't have changed that at all. It was nice to be able to see clearly and make a good decision AND to have some movement in the right direction on the scale this morning. Happy Sunday everyone.
