Sunday, February 8, 2009: No stars for myself yet. Went out with hubby last night, overate. Enough said. Friday night also, overate. No excuse. On a bad roll. I want to keep an accurate record. I HAVE been exercising well daily, probably undoing some of the damage I do at night. But I believe my weight has been slowly creeping back up. So I'm gonna start over AGAIN and try to find a workable remedy for the evening hours. I have been getting a lot of good advice from my friends on FS, but I have yet to implement them. No excuses. No complaining. I just have to do it.


Update 2:00 p.m.: Treadmill 90 minutes, 55 minutes of which was 3.7 mph at level 7 incline, and the rest was 3.6 mph at level 6 incline. Feeling good. Not hungry. Going to family party. Should be okay there. It's the nights that are always the problem. But I'm not going to let tonight get the best of me. I'll not go over my daily points.

Stopping when we are satisfied is sometimes so hard! One thing I tell myself is that I can have more later if I am still hungry. Once I put the stuff away 99% of the time I really am not hungry again but just knowing I can always go back and have something helps me a lot~~~~~~~~I know that keeping busy with something is key for me not to indulge in boredom type eating in the evenings. Keeping my hands busy by reading, brushing my little doggie, painting my toenails, beading or even doing stretches will help. If I am really hungry I stop and ask myself what I REALLY want. Then I take one serving out, put the rest back and savor it. Hope you are back on track soon! Hugs!

I too went out with hubby last night. 6 oz filet mignon, rice (small amount) and steamed veggies...not SO bad, until you add the wine!!! Yikes!! Just getting ready to hit the treadmill. 2 steps forward and 1 step back...we'll get there eventually ;)

Eating out is so hard and lazy evenings at home are just as bad sometimes. You will get it right. Just keep plugging away.
