A big reason I love low carb is that most of my carbs before were coming from highly processed, highly refined junk. I restarted my low carb/keto journey about a month ago now, and I am already down roughly 11 lbs! I'm so excited.
The thing is, I have been lenient and allowed myself higher carb counts in the form of regular peanut butter or an apple. Maybe twice per week, I have a tiny bowl of ice cream, but because I have cut out the daily take out and snacking, the cuts where I have made them have counteracted these so I am still losing!
I know I will adjust eventually, and yesterday I had a full slip day. Started my day with a doughnut and ended it with pizza (4 SLICES... Not proud...) and by the time I was getting ready for bed, I felt so sick. Like, my stomach was trying to leap out of my body sick...
So, today, I made keto pancakes (3 net carbs per pancake), was full after one, and a cup of black coffee, and I am feeling so much better. I know what works for me and this is it.
Sorry for the long post. I just needed to unload somewhere. Thanks if you read through the whole thing.
