Hi Buffy, yes those storms were pretty bad here as well. Glad you weren't hurt. House can be replaced you can't. I hate to lose a tree I know the old ones could tell a story. Oh man those storms were terrible last night. Where do you live. I am just outside of Pensacola, FL and I was so worried one of the trees was going to end up in bed with me. There is a half dead tree next door that leans just towards my house and it scares me to death. So thankful it was only your garage. Hopefully it wont take too much to fix it back up.  

KMartin- I live north of you (in NC) but think it was the same band of storms. Very thankful your neighbor's tree decided not to visit. 

Kathy - we are all hear to help. Believe me, I've needed it it more than once.  

The tree companies got some business this AM in lots of places, it seems. Those winds were something else! If that tree had to come down someplace, at least it was the garage, not the house itself. Hopefully, it didn't damage any cars inside??

Those storms rolled over the east coast of Florida, too. We had lights out, trees down...a general mess. Thanks be to God that there were no injuries, just clean up needed.
