Going to celebrate New Year's one day early with a buddy as he has a night shift on New Year's Eve at the hospital. Another friend from Brazil who recently arrived will also join in the fun. The good thing is that I will have control of the kitchen and will cook a healthy meal. My calories will come from one slice of some kind of yummy dessert yet to be purchased and 3-4 glasses of red wine. I will still be within my daily calories after some very moderate exercise. It looks like my Net Calories will be around -490.

I have not been satisfied with my body shape for quite some time and I am still not fully satisfied. It is partly that I was raised to be a perfectionist and nothing is good enough. I have been working hard at changing this using CBT and other techniques, but it is still a challenge and something you have to work at each and everyday. That being said for the first time in a long time I felt pretty good about myself when I look in the image. This coming from a guy who when he was at his peak and competing in marathons and ironman triathlons still had a body image. LOL! I would die now to be in that shape, but to be very honest training back then so insanely and working a great deal of hours is what actually got me very sick in the first place. However, that was many year ago and today is a celebration as I am feeling pretty good about my body image and even though I am not getting on the scale today I think I have even drop below my goal.
