I only lost 3/10 of a pound. but I think I see a pattern developing so I'm not as aggravated as the last time. yesterday I went on a long bike ride and I did 21 miles. I drank a ton of water and I also spent more time riding yesterday afternoon making a few short trips just to try to push my weekly mileage over 50. after my ride yesterday I was at 44 miles. then after making a few more trips back and forth to the pool and around the neighborhood I got up over 50 miles for the week. I drank a lot of water but I didn't pee very much and when I did pee I was not peeing clear. I think that the strenuous exercise caused my body to retain water. so just like 2 weeks ago when I did a long bike ride and then weighed in the next day and head lost virtually nothing, I think that's what happened again this time. so I'll just have to see if I lose weight next week. I still want to take longer bike rides on the weekends so maybe I might switch up when I weigh in. maybe weigh in in the morning before doing the long bike ride. or maybe start weighing in on Saturdays and doing the long rides on sundays. it kind of just depends on the weather. we'll see, it's a never-ending struggle.
