chicken breasts are supposed to be leaner meat then drum sticks or thighs.

Yes they areErin but I dislike them 😁 so that’s why I bring them in only right at the end of my cut.

I don't blame you I prefer my chicken thighs to any other part of the chicken to be honest.

Woof that’s rough man. I started my cut this week and I’m hoping I can hold off the switch as long as I can. I have a few friends who are in prep right now and I do not envy them (thankfully I’m not getting that lean right now). When I get below 165 I start having issues digesting food and eventually have to switch to white fish if I’m in a deep cut.

Kelsey, I hear you thanks. Yup once I switch to Talapia then I am deep deep in the cut, but I only go there if everything else does not work and if I am behind, but seriously from competing before I really struggle with fish ate too much in my past.

You bringing back some hectic memories Kelsey regarding the fish. I have competed before already, ironman bodybuilding natural champ, but..... I might be jumping into a comp, lets wait till the end of September to see. Needless to say I am getting show shredded, that is the standard for end of September. Already very cut, but still 6 weeks to go, drug free it just takes longer.

I gotcha - I haven’t completed myself yet but, I train at a old schools bodybuilding/powerlifting gym owned by this guy who is IFBB pro. A lot of my gym circles competes and one of my buddies just did NPC Total Body Championships in MS and placed 1st in classic physique class A. Another friend just went pro in wellness this past summer too. SO, I’m trying to grow a little more before I pull the trigger because I’m super inspired by my gym community. ❤️

Awesome Kelsey, I can see you are a bodybuilder at heart, i see you call your program a bro-split mine is the same but I call it a pro-split. :) Are you watching the texas pro tomorrow, Hunter Labradad and Andrew Jacked are competing its going to be epic, going to watch the paper view. There is nothing like a comp to get you super focussed. Don't rush it but a year of really focussed work is the best way, I trained for 5 years before I then put my head down for 1 year to get ready for the comp. Stay in touch I love talking to fellow lifters.

I definitely want to! Depends on work etc. Funny story, we have a mural of Hunter in my gym (he came to sign it!). So whenever it’s leg day we get to workout “with” Hunter. Lol
