Some times when I'm doing my Food Diary I may put something in it that's not quite right. For example for lunch today I had 3 slices of raw tomato & a small flounder fillet. When I put in sliced tomato, the closest thing that came up was 3 slices of tomato from Denny's. I just clicked that as what I had. Even though I grew that tomato myself.

I feel ya -- sometimes when I'm entering a meal -- particularly a meal out at a NON-chain restaurant with no nutrition info, it looks as though I was 'making the rounds' on 'restaurant row'! But I imagine there's a certain distaste (no pun intended) that comes from entering a food from a fast food chain that you actually 'raised' from seed to fruit (or veggie, depending who you ask).

You should be able to find plain tomato slices - not Denny's - buy a cheap food scale and measuring cups. You could then add 2 ounces of tomato slices or something...

OK - so I typed in "tomato" and what you may not be doing is clicking on the the plain listing - under which is always a long list of things - you could then find sliced tomato, or tomato by weight, etc. Good Ouck!
