Came pretty close to fainting while watching Creed at the cinema. A combination of stress response from the fight scenes and low blood sugar. I'm pretty sure that given my ectomorph body type, a low carb diet is NOT FOR ME!!! I really am feeling the loss of focus from going higher protein.

I'm always interested in other peoples food intake so took a peek at your food diary. As a person who eats low carb (less than 20g) I noticed yours is much higher. Is this lower carb than you are used to?

Yes - I am used to around 50% carb and 20% protein, approximately. Trying out 40% carb, 30% fat, 30% protein. Everyone's body is different.. As an ectomorph I have never had a problem with weight as I tend towards being skinny and can eat what I want and subconciously fidget to burn the extra energy. For me, if I restrict carbs my brain is foggy and I function very poorly in day to day life. Another property of my body type is a higher preference to burning carbs. For mesomorphs/endomorphs perhaps low carb can work due to a higher preference for fat burning, but doesn't fit for me while cutting weight for sport. As long as I watch the calories it doesn't really matter what proportion I eat, as long it is the healthiest balance for me and at least 20% of each one, I believe. I will add that i don't know how people can handle high fat low carb, as the fuzziness in mental processing and decision making is really hard to handle..

There are lots of diets out there to try if this one is making you feel sick. Definitely ditch the low carb one!

With the trivial amount of weight you have to lose it doesn't make any sense that you would consider a ketogenic approach to losing weight. I agree with soonsoonsoon, ditch the low carb and find something better suited to your metabolism.

fell better soon. to lose just 11 lbs, I think low calorie diet would be best for you.
