Will go to my son's house today and spend the night so we can be there when the grandkids open their presents Christmas morning. Then we'll head to my Momma's house for a day of family fellowship, food, and fun. I hope it won't be a sad Christmas there since this is our first one without Poppy. He loved Christmas and having all the kids in the house. We need to remember that he is the lucky one...he is spending Christmas with the Birthday Boy!

Your day sounds lovely. I was very touched by what you said about your Poppy. Enjoy your family, mine are in Indiana and I'm in Arizona. I got to listen to my little grandson jabber on the phone yesterday though. He was saying " ee I ee I oh". Going to be hard to keep my calories down today. The menu is prime rib, baked potatoes, CEASAR salad, yeast rolls, and cherry chocolate cake. I'm determined to get this weight off though. Good luck with your diet today. Merry Christmas!
