I feel absolutely amazing today and I hope you all do as well. If not listen to this song and....."PUT YOUR ARMOUR ON!!! SHOW YOURSELF HOW STRONG YOU ARE!!!!" Even on the days when it gets bad. I have bad days but I learned to acknowledge them, then let them flow by focusing on what the truth is. An example is what I say to myself when I start comparing. I say, there is only one you, so be the best you. When I think about leaving too soon, I remember my family who expect to see me and I want to see them too. If you don't have family, if you made online friends or you work and have good relationships built they expect to see you and depend on you and some care about you. I've learned that everyone is important and has a role, even if it's to greet a random stranger, you never know how significant a little thing can be. (India Ire, The Little Things )

My son's punishment has ended now and he surprised us by saying he understood why this happened and said he's glad we care about him. I wasn't expecting that. I'm happy it's rare we have to step in. He's pretty great and I missed playing with him and listening to his excitement about the newest thing he's found exploring YouTube kids.

I'm also proud I did well with salt today. Once I get that in order, I can keep focusing on consuming less calories. Finding the right balance filling and healthy has been interesting.

Here's a pic of the rice mix I made and ate today. It has bell peppers, spinach, garlic cloves, and seasonings with a side of rotisserie-flavored chicken I made from scratch.
