Today was my 74th birthday and it had it's ups and downs and ups like a roller coaster. I ups were from 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The time I spent on Facebook. There was one message after another from friends and family wishing me a "Happy Birthday". My old cousin Peter posted Cookie Monster wishing me a "Happy Birthday". I've never smiled so much in my life.
But the bottom fell out at 1:15 when I entered the garage and found a puddle running from the freezer. I opened it to find it was working, my husbands baked goods a package of Italian venison and brats had already thawed, but luckily the roasting chickens and 150lbs. of venison hadn't. I had move as fast since I was 30 to get the meat into the house and find places in our already full freezer. Some of it had to be left in a refrigerator /freezer my husband had to plug in in the garage Than we left to play BINGO and shop for a new freezer.

Now the ups again Bob took me to El Rancherito. where I had a delicious dinner and 3 waiter play and sing Happy Birthday to me in Spanish. A wonderful end to my roller coaster day. ;)
