Journal for 2/6/12
Weather still getting in the way of exercise. I did get a run/walk in but it started thundering as I got ready to bike to work.
On a more positive note, my (unfortunately severely obese) nephew is excited about going hiking with me this weekend. He's 14; we're also taking his 7-year old brother. We'll be doing a very short hike of 1 mile but through some rugged territory. I've made myself a promise to pick them up at least one weekend a month and do something active. I'm thinking camping next month before it gets warm, to a walk-in site.
Diet - 2 eggs and cheddar cheese for breakfast Atkins shake for lunch Blu-cheese cursted pork roast, green beans, cauli-rice, and acorn squash for dinner.
Exercise - Stretching, 1.96 mile walk/run, then crunches (4 sets of 20, 2 sets of supermans, 2 sets of bicycles) and pushups (skipped most of last week, so re-tested - 42 pushups in 1 set.)
