All I can say is THANK BOB that there were only 4 servings of cookies in that package. Because I ate them all. Phil and I went out and about yesterday right after breakfast -- and all I had to eat between breakfast and dinner @ 5:00 was a Larabar during the movie. So, of course I was stark-raving hungry. Ate a not-so-sensible dinner, but considering I hadn't eaten much that day I figured I could handle it. What I couldn't handle was the uncontrollable hunger afterwards.
I tried everything. I ate fruit, I drank water, I ate peices of ham. Anything to make the HUNGRIES stop. Finally, once all the cookies were gone, I declared that I was going to bed (at 8:30). That worked. Went to sleep and woke up totally puffy from the salty ham and the sugary cookies.
I'm not exactly sure what I could've done differently. Because I wasn't hungry in the earlier part of the day and I didn't feel hungry during the movie. I guess I should've eaten something before the movie. I didn't realize how hungry I was until I took that first bite of burger. Once I started eating, I knew it would be very hard to stop.
