So today I did better! Day by day I hope to improve. I'm hoping to lose 20lbs by Christmas. I know it will be hard I will just have to keep at it. I always snacked at work with cookies and ice cream. I now eat fruits or crackers instead. I will weigh in on Monday. I use the scale at work in another department so I won't be tempted to check it constantly.

that's a good idea with the scale - I used to pay a quarter to weigh on one of those silly machines at a local retail store - it would print out the silliest fortunes but my weight was at the bottom too so I had little scraps of motivation to take with me!

You can do it!! Good plan with the scale! I used to work at a newspaper. I went back to the production room and weighed in once a week on the big scale used to weigh rolls of paper. Kept me from being obsessed.

When is Christmas? Soooooo ... depending on your metabolism, it might be worth looking at low-carb approaches. I'm no ketovangelist, but I love being free from cravings, and not having to keep making trade-offs.
