Feeling really stressed out today but forced myself to get in at least 35 mins on the elliptical (2.36mi 370 cals burned). I also had to ride my bike to school so I got in a 7mi ride as well. My upper back/neck/shoulder area is killing me right now but that's where I hold my stress.

As of right now I'm finally eating a meal. Prior to this, I've been running on 200 cals from cashews & a SF Red Bull for the last 5.5 hrs. I'm already so worn down. Trying to decided tonight just how late I'm going to be staying up to study for all 3 of my tests. It's days like this that make it !!SO!! hard to focus on food & exercise when you need to focus elsewhere. I'll really have to make up for today & tomorrow over the weekend. Luckily next week is a nearly another Spring Break for me (only 1 day of classes), so I'll have time to focus then.

That's it for now. Gotta chow this omelet down & get on my physics equations sheet.

Hi Shay, thanks for the comments on my journal, hell yes getting under 200 ir cause for celebration for sure. I dont know what kind of diet you are on but remember to be good to yourself, good nutrition is really important. I have found that over the years of yoyo dieting that if you cant stay on it for life dont even bother trying it. The problem is once you go back to your old way of eating you go back to your old way of looking and we sure dont want that. If your trying to keep a mental alertness for school and also physical for exercise its best to be eating for health. Good luck to you...remember nothing tastes as good as thin feels...ok maybe not thin..how about slim. better..lol.

Thanks. I'm not on any particular diet. Diets only work in the short term, it's about lifestyle change. I'm working w/ what I've got considering I live w/ my mom & I can only nudge her so much w/ the shopping. I'm surround by junk & have been doing well w/ it so far. For the short time that I did live on my own I LIVED the lifestyle change that I wanted. In the course of a year I think I only bought a loaf of bread once & pasta 3 times. I stuck mainly to protein, dairy (cheese), soy products, big on the veggies & some fruits. I got to the lowest weight I had ever been at as an adult, 210. But then life happened & I had to make some tough decisions & I ended up back w/ my family. Since then life hasn't been the easiest & my family as a whole has experienced some major life changing, devastating events. I'm just now finding my way out of it b/c I can't live in my pit of despare anymore. I may not be able to change/fix all my issues, but taking back control of my eating & exercise habits is something positive I can focus on. So that's what I'm doing.

Very positive move forward in your life to work on changing your eating and exercise habits. Sorry about the devastating events in your family. Hope things improve for all of you soon. I know how hard it can be to crawl out of that pit of despair.
