They call me mellow yellow!
I don't know why my line changed from peach to yellow, I'm not quite at 50% loss yet, but I'll gladly take it. I'm feeling better about it all, and I have to admit only weighing in once a week was a nice a feeling. I mean the first few days it did plague me a bit. I was scared about what the scale was doing, but I think I got used to it, and I'm going to weigh in next Monday again. Nothing in between.
My next milestone/goal date is April 18th. That gives me 3 weeks to lose 2lbs. That leaves me enough where if I hit a bump in the road, I'll be ready for it.
Today is the anniversary, but since I'm working, we're not really doing much. I have the next two days off (my employer is of Jewish faith), so Joe and I are celebrating tomorrow. We're going to go to the NJ Aquarium in Camden and then go to this restaurant on the way home Chickie's and Pete's. I looked at the menu. There is NOTHING healthy for me to eat there, but I'm adding an extra day of yoga this week, and I will probably exercise when I get home from dinner anyway, so I'm not terribly worried.
This week and next week, Joe and I are remodeling our apartment. Since we live in New Jersey and have had some terrible weather these past few months (rain, snow, winds) that we have some slight water damage that is being repaired, and once it is, we are going to paint the apartment. We've been there for almost a year and despite some shelves, we really haven't made the apartment ours. We're going out and getting paint tonight. We'll probably paint all weekend, with the exception of Sunday, and then I'm off again on Monday and Tuesday, so we'll hopefully be able to finish everything up.
The rain is still coming down, so I haven't been able to get out of the apartment and run. I did a little bit on Friday night and I did a walk/jog for about 3 miles. It felt good. I was a little stiff the next morning. I was out for 45 minutes. I need to build up my tolerance. I hopefully will have a 5k before the end of the year. Yay!
Also, I'm going on vacation this year! I'm not sure where, either Aruba or Disney World. I know very different places, but still, it's a hard decision. I love both places. I have to make a decision. So I'm hoping that I'm down enough weight to wear a bikini. Not even thin, I want to be toned. I don't want a 6 pack or anything I just want to have a flat and toned stomach. That's all.
I may not be around the next two days because I won't be at work, and Joe and I often fight over the computer. Hope everyone has a good couple days!
