My poison ivy (from backyard project) is spreading like wildfire! Went to the doctor and got a shot (steroids) so wouldn't be surprised if this leads to a couple of pounds weight gain.
On a positive note, I ate very well yesterday and so far today.
I'm off now to try to catch up with everybody's journals!

Oh, I don't envy you! How miserable! If it is anywhere near as hot there as it is here, with the humidity (108 heat index), I feel so sorry for you. I hope the shot helps. prayers are with you.

GG - I was getting to the point where I was totally miserable but, fortunately, the shot works quickly. Going to steal a couple of the dog's Benedryl to help me sleep tonight.

DairyKing - Thanks for thinking of me! Only 94 today but the predicted high is 104 tomorrow. But I work in air conditioning so that helps with the itch factor.

Oh man, Buffy....how awful.. I've had my share of bouts with the stuff and I know how miserable it can be. Good thing you got that shot. DH swears by Benedryl whenever he's had it....says he can't itch if he's sleeping!

Oh bless your heart..good thing you went to the doc...that stuff can get in your bloodstream and play havoc...Its hard not to scratch I know
but try not too..back when we were little my mom would put white shoe polish on ours..But then again we stayed home..Take care of you...:O)

Ick. I hate poison ivy. I got a little bit on my shins from weed whacking the neighbors yard last weekend but it doesn't sound near as bad as yours!
