I've never been thin and I am excited to start this journey to getting into a healthier body. I was ok between 200 and 215 which was my prebaby weight all through highschool but never really felt good, then packed on more weight when I was pregnant and its still here almost 5 years later.
The whole mini goal thing I need to work out but some ideas are:
250 - dance lessons
230 - an overnight stay at the mountain snowboarding
210 - get out the pre baby clothes and have a fashion show of big vs not so big!
190 - check out a half marathon
170 - I'm hoping it'll be around the September 8th Oregon WARRIOR DASH! I plan to do it this year and I want it to be my big hurrah lookit me! I've sounded out a couple of family members that live a few hours away to come play too.
Below 170 - happy dance :D
I set 170 as my goal weight but I guess its really going to depend on my body. I haven't weighed that since I was a freshman. According to the BMI calculators and whatnot I shouldn't be above 165 to be in the normal range but having never been there in my adult life. Best I can say now is it'll just depend on how I'm feeling about my health. I do believe that this is going to be a life long change in my eating - bye bye double bowls of capn crunch and heaps of mashed potatoes, hello tuna and mashed cauliflower! I'm almost 26 and have a young daughter to teach how to care for her body. I'm thankful I've started figuring this out while she's still young and am so proud to show her how to live by example.
Thank you Jesus for loving me before I loved myself. I believe that He has given me the strength to undertake this journey and will get me through it...and beyond.
