I’m going the wrong way!! I have been stress eating and not exercising so it’s no surprise. Was on vacation and gained 2 lbs( worth it) but the gain after that was due to stress. First had Covid, wasn’t very sick at all but ate what I wanted, then my 84 year old mom hurt her back and I have had to spend a lot of time away from home these last 10 days helping her. Glad I am able too, but my normal way of eating went out the window. Today I will exercise, drink my water and eat right. Everyday is a blessing in that we get a new chance to be good to ourselves and others. Here’s to a new day!

Well vacation was wonderful while it lasted. We had to come home 2 days early because my husband started to feel like he was coming down w a cold. In addition to gaining 3 lbs, which I expected, we also gained our first case of Covid. If it wasn’t for the fact that he had a fever our last day on the road ( that caused us to test when we got home) I would not think I had Covid. I have had an on and off headache and minor sniffles so far. He’s has the respiratory symptoms and fatigue. We were due to get our booster next week, so that can be put off for a while. My greatest aggravation at the moment is that I ( possibly) overstretched a tendon on my hand 2 days before we left. So now I have to keep that mid finger immobile for 6-8 weeks. I that doesn’t help, they will explore the possibility of a torn tendon. Can’t grip w my left hand, so will have to improvise when I start back exercising. Things could always be worse, I’m grateful they aren’t.
