It has been a long time since my last post. I have now included Protein Shakes every now and then as a meal supplement on some days into my diet. Meal prepping is not a chore for me but has become lots of fun. I watch lots of online cooking video especially (Natashakitchen) I am buying more fruits, vegetables, nuts, yogurt, cheese, eggs and less red meat. (for meat I buy shrimp, sardines, salmon, fish, chicken) Sometimes I do not stop by the meat department at all. Mostly I carry around the hand-basket to do my shopping and hopefully, I will start to remember to bring in my own grocery bag so I won't have a hand full of plastic bags that quickly add up.

I am soon doing my Wellness Health Checkup for the new benefit year. I am hoping for improved results. It has been a year now. I must receive an overall score of 75/100 in order to keep my Health Care Incentive of $10-20 per month off of the premium which is a saving on a low income. And more importantly, an improved score is good to know that my health status is improving by following doctor's orders and that their medical advice has been beneficial and has been worth following. Good results is a good reason to continue in any program.

As soon as I get the updates, I will post it. Current weight today is 202 pds and bp is 120/79 pulse rate 62. Anxious to know about blood glucose levels. My last visit it was 88 and I was considered to be in the pre-diabetic stages. So I hope my change in diet has changed this score for the better.

It has been a while since I have been out here. They say a watched phone never rings and I guess you could say that about a weight scale. I have dropped 6 pounds from my last post back in October. I am currently at 208.0. I basically stuck to the same meal plans of l500 calories during the Holiday break.

I'm still doing weight lifting with one hand weight as many days as possible throughout the week. I had to decrease my walking since the gym where I was going sponsors younger children playing basketball. The gym is always occupied in the evenings with ball practice and also on Saturday's until around noon. And beginning in December, they will have the gym up until the last week of February since in December they will begin to start their game season. Therefore, no walkers will be allowed. I'm seriously considering buying a small treadmill, because I am still determined to get the rest of the weight off and not being considered obese any more.
