After fasting yesterday I feel great this morning! Let's do this!! I'm off to a good start today, one day at a time...despite being up 5lbs from my last weigh in, I'm feeling confident again. I've got a doctors appointment in a few weeks and I'm disappointed in myself for not really changing anything from my last visit 6mos ago, but I'm hoping if I'm really good the next couple weeks my visit won't be as bad as I think. It definitely won't be any worse!

Ok so I haven't posted for quite a while. The holidays had me completely fall off the wagon (even though I swore they wouldn't). So here it is mid Feb and I'm still trying to find my willpower.
So today is Ash Wednesday (oh and Valentine's Day). Lucky for me my son has a game over an hour away tonight, so no big VDay celebration for me and the hubby. So my brain decided that I should try fasting today, I mean it's Ash Wednesday and it's not like I'll be sitting home bored or indulging in a yummy VDay meal. I've been at work all day, I did have two cups of coffee, but haven't had anything else other than water.
So it's almost time for my workday to end...hmmmm will I be able to do this? I'm hoping I can and it'll be the kick in the ass I need to get myself on track again.

So yesterday I'm just gonna say was a "day off". I started in the morning by having a bagel toasted with butter from Whole Donut...yummy! Now I didn't also order a cherry cake donut (which is definitely something I would have done in the past) but I've also been trying to watch my carbs, hence why I've been limiting my bagel fix to no more than once a week. Unfortunately my bad choices for the day didn't end there 😬 Lunch was another no-no, a nice big hard roll (nope, not even whole wheat yikes) loaded with American Cheese and mustard...again, yummy (I'm a vegetarian so no meat, yuck) and not one vegetable 😳 oh boy! So after an extremely stressful day at work, yup I resorted to old habits and picked up a couple cheese pizzas on my way home. And of course had to finish it off with a nice big bowl of ice cream (again, real ice cream no lifts, no sugar blah blah blah kinda ice cream). So after all this "cheating " have I given up? Hell no!!! I'm right back on track today!! One bad day is not going to dictate my life!! 😊
