BK: 1.1 mmol/L BG: 101 mg/dL - I think I am are doing fathead wrong. It clearly doesn't knock me out of keto, but I'm always up the morning after. The kids love it so maybe I just need to skip dinner on those nights. Of course that is hard because the house smells amazing.

You're experiencing "dawn phenomenon." To counter the overnight "fast" -- lack of caloric intake that the liver interprets as "starvation" -- the liver converts stored glycogen to glucose and releases it into the small intestine, thus raising your morning "fasting" BS reading. If you eat a small snack of protein-and-fat (0g carbohydrate) totaling ~100 calories (e.g., a hard-boiled egg, or a piece of cheese), you'll be more likely to keep your blood sugar within normal limits.

Thanks, I'm not worried about my BG, my last A1C was through the floor. My 22yo son has been type 1 since he was 4 so I am super familiar with all the strange ways BG go wonky. The up I was talking about was the 1.2 pounds up from the previous day. Probably not drinking enough water. That seems to always be my problem, but I feel like I am drinking constantly.
