went on a 2+ week vacation to visit the girls over Thanksgiving - drove from WA to AR via Utah, Wyoming, Nebraska, MO (and COLD single digit temps!!) down to just south of Little Rock for about 6 1/2 days, then to Tucson from there for a week, then home - I fully expected, after what we ate while on the road, TWO thanksgiving dinners (yes, I had cheesecake lol) and all the other meals...I refused to ask my girls to cook special for me, so I just kept an eye on what I ate...Anyway, I expected to be about 10# up when we got home on the 26th...Color me surprised!!! only about 3#, which is now gone, along with 2.5 more - which puts me 8.8lbs from my goal. Christmas is not a big deal for me, don't do a lot of cooking, won't see the girls/grandkids...so it's just me and the hubster, maybe his stepson...might do a ham, but otherwise, nothing special.
All in all - wonderful trip, wasn't ready to leave, but glad to sleep in my own bed lol - Hope everyone had a Great Thanksgiving!
