i only weighed in again today because i totally forgot to take my measurements yesterday and i wanted my weight and my inches to be in sync. it was a surprise to see the loss, especially since the last two weeks it didn't appear i lost anything as far as net weight went which was mildly depressing.

i just realized i've been doing this for 2 months. i only really used a scale and measured from 2 weeks in - so since then i've lost about 11 lbs and 19.5 inches. the inches really surprised me. really. cos it hasn't LOOKED like much to me. and i am not so sure about my consistency of measurements... but i can't be THAT off, i don't think. anyway, what surprised me more than the total was that since the last time i measured when i was at 174.8lbs on 6/18, i had dropped 6.5 inches! a few of which were right around the middle, which is the part i most want to change. this made the lack of a real loss a bit more palatable.

anyway, it's a beautiful sunny day out, already did yoga, am going to finish up some housework and go enjoy the sunshine. then pick up the bf from work, and then taking a late drive to seattle to see my best friend for maybe 18 hours (this is always how it is with us, unfortunately)... so i'm happy!
