Wanted to wish everyone a Happy New Year! I've made it through the holidays with only a couple of pounds added on. I'm happy with that. I have definately not been doing keto. I had to laugh at myself this evening when I looked around my kitchen. There was homemade Lemon Pound cake, Apple Fritters, powdered donuts, sour cream cake donuts, Sweet Potato Souffle and Crock Pot Apple Cobbler. Oh.. and Christmas Nougats, Peppermint Patties and some leftover Halloween candy. Sheesh!
I'm looking forward to getting back to the keto for a couple of months and see what else I can accomplish. My goal is 160#. Haven't been there since high school. That being said, I'm proud and happy to say I'm closing out 2019 at 178#. First time here in 5 years and only managed to stay there a couple of months that time. I'm down 35 pounds since May and feel good about where I am. I feel I have a handle on it this time. Time will tell.
