Well, I'm disappointed. I knew I couldn't possibly keep losing weight at the same rate as I had over the summer, but 4.5 pounds in 5 weeks is less than I'd hoped for. I was hoping for 6 pounds -- but maybe this is just a bit of a plateau. I went to Curves this morning, and if I can manage to get there 3 times a week, I might get the boost I need to bump up the weight loss again. I just have to keep telling myself that I had originally thought it would take me 2 years to lose all the weight, and I'm still ahead of that pace, so I should be grateful and proud of myself.

Thanks for the encouragement, Suzi. You're right, of course -- as long as the scale is going in the right direction, I should be satisfied.
