I'm weighing in every morning these last 3 days (yesterday, today, and tomorrow). Curious to see where I am before Monday.
After a free day, it takes me 3 or 4 days to get back to equilibrium. With all the measuring, I don't want to get too caught up with the number on the scale as it fluctuates throughout the weekly rhythm. What I do want to track is the rolling average week over week by a consistent measurement.
I like the boost of weighing early in the morning, at my lowest for the day. Then another boost of weighing the morning before a free day. That will be my set point week over week.
I am also happy I have made a month of adhering to my meal plan, where it should now be entering the realm of habit and require less willpower to maintain. I did not go on a trip this week, which would have put a lot of strain on maintaining the habit.
I joined a gym yesterday and did my first upper body resistance training (mostly with dumbbells). It has been a long hiatus. Had prior success with very noticeable results in 3 months with 5/3/1 (low rep inverse pyramid), which trains for strength. Using Body for Life right now, with an emphasis on stamina (higher reps). I am taking notes as I exercise and going in with a plan.
