Fasted from yesterday at 9pm to today at 8pm (24 hours). A long day. Traveled 2 hours one way to see my son and went to see an animation movie about an action character called Naruto. It was a long 2 hour film to say the least. While my son ate lunch I just watched as I was fasting, but I was actually not hungry or tempted. Afterwards we went to a book shop and he bought some managa. Another 2 hours back home followed by the 6 km bike ride from the train station. I had a healthy dinner and was actually not extremely healthy. I decided to allow myself a treat and had 8 pieces of a 72% cocao bar. I hated this stuff in the past, but now I love it and it is also much healthier. I had a good weigh-in at 177.1 lbs. However, with the fasting and exercise and proper eating it is very tough to lose much weigh. I am almost near my first goal of 175 lbs, but my ultimate goal is 170 lbs, but I know this will take a lot of work for my body frame. This year I reach a low of about 167 lbs, but it took a lot of exercise, fasting and crazy discipline and I was not able to maintain that weight for that long. Despite my efforts I after dropping from 198 lbs to 167 in about 6 months of intense work/effort I found myself slowly creeping back up to my old weight and about a month ago I was edging towards 185 lbs. I realized that I had to do something to stop and the culprit was my sugar intake. I started this food diary which helped out greatly along with cutting out most of the sweets and getting back to moderate exercise. Now I am down about 7 lbs in a few weeks and hope to drop another 2 lbs by the end of the year and try to maintain that for a little while and ultimately reach my goal of 170 lbs.

Overall, a good day. Tomorrow I am going to friends for Christmas dinner as my best buddy has to work on Xmas. I am just going to enjoy the day with no calorie counting. I give myself permission to indulge, but to be honest even with the permission I think that I will still do OK.
