I lost a pound but my goal for this weigh-in was 2 pounds. But since I didn't meet my exercise goal I have no one to blame but myself.
Will be getting plenty of exercise this afternoon. It is tax free weekend in NC and I'm going to walk the mall with a friend. Not planning to buy fall clothes yet, but if something on the clearance rack is calling my name, well, how can I resist!

I LOVE clearance shopping! And, congrat's on that pound, too. I'm a happy camper if I can consistently drop a pound a week...well, maybe not quite "happy," but at least it keeps me from tearing out my hair. Hope you find lots and lots of things you just can't do without!

Congratulations on that lost pound! They do add up. Is that the tax-free weekend designed to help parents buy school clothes and such? And if you don't have kids still in school you can reap the benefits for yourself! Have a good night and a blessed Sunday!

Pamela - you are not going to make me feel guilty. I bought one shirt off clearance - and the clerk never asked me if it was for a school child. Beside - who is to say that my granddaughter won't borrow it to wear to school some day (wouldn't be the first time)!

I always go to the clearance racks to see what goodies I can find..every January at JC Penny's they always have a good sell..some times I can find some very nice things....Congrats on the loss and your doing fine...shoot I like that tax free stuff too..oh yeah I don't
have children but hey its a tax free day..lets see I need some stationary, envelopes etc...Have a great Sunday.....Bren
