I am not in control atm. I have been working hard in my garden and preparing meals whilst tired and ravenous, so over eating. I am just going to accept things as they are for now and try to calm things down when the heavy work is done.

Yeah if you’re ravenous then something is not right. Either more protein Or maybe you’re building muscle. Very wise to put everything in context and not take it too hard. You’ll be back on track soon enough.

If you are doing a lot of low intensity, steady work you will burn a lot of calories and its normal to feel hungry. It is your body telling you that it needs fuel. I suppose the trick is to try and make it healthy fuel, not sugars and fats.

Yes, I think the content of my meals is worse than the volume. I am off shopping tomorrow, so have a list done and meals planned for the week. My garden is a mess, the previous owners had it as a 2nd home and unfortunately they fell ill, so the garden was ignored for quite some time. I have broken the back of it, but lots more to do.
