SO logging a gain but I'm somehow not annoyed by this at all. Its been a long time coming and I know its due to my slacking on my diet but also muscle gain. In fact.. if I don't lose a pound more between now and the new year, I wont be upset. I'm not in anyway giving up. No way. I'm just being realistic. I have a lot of challenges ahead and it will be hard to say no and I know myself. I've worked my butt off for 11 months so yes, I will have a bite here and there. I still plan to try my hardest outside of social functions and holiday and by no means will I ever stop going to the gym. I just wont punish myself if I slip up. I will still follow my maintenance plan. At the beginning of the 2015 I told myself I wanted to get to 170 by 2016...I've met that goal and really wanted to get to 150 by my bday 12/30 but I know putting a timeline on weight loss is unrealistic so my current goal is to just maintain my current weight and stay steady at the gym then attack again after new year. I know its not the same goal I had a few weeks ago and I was def talking smack about digging my heals in but I need to honest with myself. Bc if I am, I will feel better about myself and enjoy the holidays a lot more. My apologies if I disappoint anyone LOL. And honestly I look and feel great... so maybe that's I don't feel so crappy about the gain. SO with all that said.. DH talked me into cooking instead of buying our TG so I'm working on that.. I always make some low carb sides and a small bit of carbage for the hubby.. no sweat. Just today and tomorrow and then Ill be like braveheart "freeedom!" for at least two days. Plan to kick up a storm at the gym and get my work out on!! Gonna do dead lifts with the trainer on Wednesday. GO me! Hope every one has great day!

Sounds like a good plan going into the holidays. Keep up the workouts and have a good time.

Maintaining overall weight from now through the end of the year would be a plus in my book. As for timelines I came to the view a good while ago that it's more important to just stick to the journey rather than set a specific date where the journey ends at a certain weight or goal. Long term success means the journey never ends, just changes paths a bit and there will be hills and bumps along the way. You've done really well. :)

I agree that maintaining between now and Jan 1 is a great plan. It is about lifestyle and sometimes we have life happen which includes celebrations and people. Hang with it Andee
