Wow! Pizza is amazing. Up over 2 pounds! That being said, it was my refeed day and I stayed within calories. Today is 1100 calories or so on my calorie cycling routine. I can't believe some of you women are eating near there every day. It's insane, but then I guess the weight you're shooting for isn't 180. Calipers are saying 10.4, but I believe I'm somewhere between 11 and 12%. Looking forward to what the scale says tomorrow morning. Today's offering ~ Renegade

I couldn't sit at 1100 for any time ... ahem ... well, hardly ever in fact. Still, your results speak for your dedication - good going NM!

Real honest to goodness pizza = worth the temporary gain. In my mathematics book anyway.

mmmmnnnn, pizza! Totally worth it. Live life... while you are keeping your eye on the prize. You chose pizza one day, knowing that the next day you would not choose pizza and knock your calories down a little lower. That is the way to do this in my opinion. Way to go!

Pizza and the dreaded Asian buffet...two sure fire next day weight gainers, though usually short lived. Just dropped in to say thanks Bruce...your comment on my last post got me thinking and I figured out what happened to my power...all good now and continuing on the fat loss program, thanks mate!

I think half of "pizza gain" is the sodium. You'll probably drop this quickly, assuming you are not planning pizza for dinner!

Hey, Jimmie. Thanks for the hashtag. Steven, both Chinese restaurants were closed or we would have gone that way. It was Victoria day yesterday. Queen Victoria's birthday. Not sure why they closed. Maybe from Hong Kong? :) As to you sorting it out, I think most of us who have been in the game know what needs to be done; We just need someone to remind us because, well, maybe we don't want to do it that way?

Bruce...short explanation; I made a BIG withdrawal of the glycogen bank account, then two nights later no sleep, flu a day a half later...then I'm whining about "no power" and blaming it on muscle loss...I was a little pissy... after reading your post I did some thinking and I remember killing the endurance training session (BIG glycogen withdrawal)...after that I gave my body no chance to recover...all good now after a couple carb load days and two power wattage and recovery heart rate tests...back on the cut program with no "lost strength" worries...t

The 'little things'are often forgotten. Easy to miss things like that. Amazing what carbs can do.
