I did 5mins on the elliptical just now. I was doing 2mins for the past few days but this time I pushed myself until my legs literally couldn't move the peddles anymore and it was right on 5mins. My legs almost gave out when I stepped off the machine. I can walk for about 20mins before my legs start to feel really heavy, about 30 before they start to feel like they're going to give out like they almost did after using the elliptical. I will get on the elliptical again when I get back from the tip and buying some chicken breasts for my udon soup. A couple mins on the elliptical might seem like a small feat for most but for someone my weight who doesn't exercise, i feel like its more than a small feat. Only thing that I'm not happy about is that I have to have a puff of ventolin afterwards but hopefully I'll get to a point where I can exercise without needing to take it anymore.

Thats great work. I couldnt do 2 mins for at least 10 weeks in the beginning. Every second extra is a step forward...well done.😊

Slowly Slowly Catchy Monkey :-) haha.....as they say Small steps, short times and build it up. Go slow and increase and you start to feel more comfortable. Why don't you aim for 5 mins elliptical and 20 mins walking for the next 3 days. 7 mins elli and 20 mins walking for the next 3, 7 mins elli and 25 mins walking for the next 3....or something like that :-) x

Lol I haven't heard that one before. xD I feel a lot more motivated to exercise now so will definitely keep working on it. ^_^

Haha...I'm sure I've heard it somewhere....not just in my head hopefully!! Hopefully the weather is a bit nicer for you over there - we're freezing still over here in WA. Roll on summer :-) xx

It's starting to warm up a little thankfully. Gets pretty cold where I am. Almost feels like winter in NZ here in the Blue Mountains, NSW. Can't wait for the warm weather to get here!
