I did not want to step on the scale this morning. I blew it big time yesterday morning and obviously blew 3 days of exercise and eating right with one binge - still at the same weight I logged last Thursday.
Lesson to be remembered - stay away from any place offering breakfast buffets. I got a late night message from my daughter and had to pick her up very early Saturday and take her somewhere. I got a shake out to take with me but forgot it so we were looking for a place I could get some eggs. We couldn't even find a tex-mex restaurant to get a breakfast taco (eat the filling, skip the tortilla). Finally, we saw Granny D's homestyle restaurant. I planned on just getting an omelet, but then reasoned I could get scrambled eggs and bacon on the buffet. Long story short - fried potatoes and gravy are my downfall. And what really f***ing pisses me off - the food wasn't worth the blown calories!
We had already planned dinner out with some friends, so I knew dinner was going to be a splurge. But at least dinner (really good burger and some great beer) was worth the calories.
