Ugh - trying not to focus on the scale. I've been running each weekend, going to the gym and keeping my calories in order but somehow I'm gaining weight. My pants seem to be fitting a little better. It's only been two weeks since I started really watching it... I know I'm much healthier and doing the right things (sans all the weekend cocktails) so I'm just going to stick it out. Maybe I'll pledge to myself NOT to get on the scale again until Jan 31. I don't know. I won't stick to that. Feeling crappy about this right now. Ugh. Approaching 40 sucks.

OK - just read this again and see just how negative it appears. I probably am not gaining or losing anything. It's only 2-3 pounds, but still... I want to see progress!
