I've decided to do a race or other event each month this year. January, already ran the Celtic Crawl 5k (40:15, unimpressive finish) February - another 5k on 2/18; the Love Your Heart 5k in New Braunfels March - 2 options right now: a mud run in Austin March 3 or a 5k in New Braunfels March 10 April - Either a mud run and/or the Fiesta Wildflower 23 mi/40 mi ride on April 22. Nothing planned after that until September. September 22 is the Conquer the Coast 68 mile ride in Corpus Christi; I am extremely excited about this one.
Journal for January 31, 2012 - Food: Breakfast - a few slices of dry salami and a slice of cheese Lunch - chicken salad sandwich on croissant (forgot to bring lunch or stock up on shakes) Snack - peanuts Dinner - braised chicken w/ chipotle raspberry sauce, wild rice w/ walnuts and orange zest, almond green beans. Snack - cup of green tea, some sweet potato chips
