15.3 lbs to go 42 days to go ( eek😲)!!! No idea on the carbs
So I fast all day 23.5 hrs, except for the illicit dumpling 😊
Then went to my mums for her birthday. We had agreed on Turkish takeaway.. chicken kebabs, lots of salad etc
Got there after a long, hot car journey My sister in law had decided to order pizza instead. With wedges.😔 no salad😔
So, I smiled through gritted teeth.. I was STARVING. Had a handful of wAlnuts that I carry on the car. Had the toppings from 3 vegetarian slices 🍕. Base from one slice and no crusts. And 2 potato wedges.drank lots of water and gave my prosecco to my brother after the birthday toast 🥂
Due to the power cut we couldn't bake a birthday cake, so we bought one covered in white chocolate curls.. was really easy to mash it up on the plate with my fork so it looked like I'd eaten it 😁
Dropped in on one of my mums neighbours who have 5 kids similar ages to me. 4 of them were visiting there.. one is a runner and normal weight. All the rest were VERY obese, especially their one daughter who is the same age as me and was visiting from Ireland 🇮🇪. I felt really skinny next to them (comparatively speaking ☺️) helped me to avoid the cake/soda bread/ chocs I was offered.
So, I think I made the best of a bad job. And saw the shocking effects of carb heavy Irish diet firsthand. We were all normalish weight in our 20s/30s !!!!
