Yesterday I wore a pair of jeans from my "I will fit into these again, damn it!" pile. I did not need to lay down on the bed to zip them up. I did not look, or feel, like a stuffed sausage. I was so happy. And I knew - no matter what the scale was going to say today - that I was succeeding. (But I'm still happy that the scale went down!)
