Have you ever tried baking your bacon on a cookie rack in the oven (of course). Loose some of that artery clogging grease and it turns out crisp and brown. 425 degrees. Watch closely after the first 5 min. Or so— from there it can go very quickly depending on the thick/thin of the bacon. No real need to turn it unless bacon is real thick.

The microwave bacon isn’t bad easy quick done if you need a bacon fix not as fatty as regular bacon either not quite as good either but not bad

@kenna, no I haven't tried with a rack, unless I am making jalapeno poppers. I bake it on a cookie sheet then drain it on a towel. I'm one of those weird people who like it still a bit soft! :D When it gets crispy I find it hard to eat.

I love mine crispy, but I used to do the microwave wrapped in paper towel too. I always burn myself when I cook it, so that is my husbands job.
