Whew, day 1! This morning I had a spring greens salad with red peppers and balsamic vinegar, a banana, an activia yogurt, a wedge of Laughing Cow Light, and two coffees with creamer.

Very hungry at lunch time but no headaches, dizziness, sweats or other physical ills. I'd say my hunger was about a 7.

Lunch was a giant salad with a whole can of white tuna fish, four pieces of chopped sun dried tomatoes and a half a cut up pear with light Italian dressing. Then, still hungry, I had a half cup of edamame and one single homemade peanut butter cookie.

Okay, I didn't need that cookie, I just wanted it, and it was homemade and it was good. It is day one, you know. (that to the angel on my right shoulder who is 'tsking' me).

Should have had a tea before or after lunch (or both), to curb that hunger. Need some better planning to be able to forego that cookie.

Planned dinner: A veggie delight on wole wheat from Subway, no cheese. I have to work 10 hours today, then get my hair colored, then have band practice tonight, so no time to shop or cook and it was the best thing I could think of! The biggest question tonight will be: can I not have that wine during practice? Better start finding something to drink to substitute!

Tomorrow: Plan and shop

On my way to better health, feeling better, feeling better about me!
