Finished the vacation. So did the cheerfulness end! Feel chained to my desk. (yes I do get up quite often), but with this little voice inside of me knowing that I'm not moving around, not exercising and that is a bad thing all around..

But like the song says: I owe, I owe, so off to work I go!

Nevertheless, this is Atkins induction day 9. I'm pretty much on plan. No cheating but not counting carbs either. Sticking to low carb veg.

A whole 1.5 hres of walking yesterday. 10 gl of water. 29.8C in the house, so water is an easy one.

Feel the same, but no cravings, that's good. Day 13 I have a BBQ, so I don't know how or what I'll do. I'd like to enjoy some wine...

Hi! Looks like you're cruising along and doing all the right stuff, while feeling good. The BBQ is not a problem; on those operations I eat only the salad and meat, and skip the buns and BBQ sauce, (also salad dressing unless it's oil and vinegar, and not a sugary one). If you are able to stick with that, you'll be able to toast your victory with that wine. I have found, through bitter experience, if you "fall off the wagon", or even just break the low-carb experience, kick-start it the next day. If I don't, then go on a carbo-binge. Good luck from now and including the BBQ.

I'm pretty sure there is no alcohol allowed on atkins, I read so many journal entries where people have to start all over in atkins because they ate/ drank something wrong. If you don't follow the rules there will be less benefits. I could never do it but maybe it will work for you. In my room it's 32ºC right now, pretty warm.
