well that's disappointing!

Despite less than 20g carbs yesterday, my fasting blood sugar remained super high. 11.4 mmol (or 205.2 mg/dl). The dawn phenomenon is killing me!

I am not taking medication because I want to control the sugars with the diet. Medication don't work anyway. The fasting blood sugar remains high whether or not I take medication. Waste of money.

Tonight, I will add some type of protein before I go to sleep. Like 1 boiled egg or something. Let's see if that helps.

Tomorrow, I start the 30 day challenge. I am looking forward to it!!

Best wishes on getting your blood sugar under control. I've been working to keep mine down, still not where I want it, but the lowest it's been since I started testing around the middle of July. So that's good - I've found that exercise in the morning before I eat helps my blood sugar drop to normal in the afternoons. I'm going to start trying some before bed exercise to see if I can get my fasting blood sugars down some more. I have a Doctor's appointment on September 14th, so I'm hoping that my blood sugars are looking good by then, even if the A1C is still going to be off.
